Day 1: Arrival in Victoria Falls & Zambezi River Sunset Cruise

Begin your journey with a flight from Gaborone to Victoria Falls, where you'll be transferred to your lodge near the falls. Take some time to unwind, enjoy a swim, and savor lunch while spotting local wildlife.

In the late afternoon, embark on a breathtaking sunset safari cruise along the Zambezi River. Known as the "river of life," this majestic waterway is the third-longest in Africa, flowing through six countries before reaching the Indian Ocean. Its untouched beauty and diverse wildlife create an enchanting atmosphere. Keep an eye out for leopards, elephants, and other fascinating animals along the riverbanks.

After the cruise, return to your lodge for a delightful dinner, soaking in the serene African landscape. Your accommodation is within walking distance of Victoria Falls village, offering access to vibrant markets and excellent dining options.

Day 2: Chobe National Park Safari & River Cruise (Optional)

Start your day early with a transfer to Botswana (approximately 1 hour) for an unforgettable safari in Chobe National Park, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Your adventure begins with a 3.5-hour guided game drive in an open-sided 4x4 safari vehicle, where you’ll have the chance to see large elephant herds, wild dogs, buffalo, lions, leopards, and cheetahs.

After a hearty lunch on the banks of the Chobe River, set off on a scenic safari boat cruise. This unique experience allows you to observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of waterbirds up close. Watch as herds of elephants and buffalo gather along the riverbanks, creating picture-perfect safari moments.

As the sun sets, return to Victoria Falls for the evening. For an immersive cultural experience, opt for an African-style dinner at The Boma, featuring interactive drumming, dance performances, and theater.

Day 3: Guided Tour of Victoria Falls

After breakfast, set out on a guided tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Named by explorer David Livingstone in honor of Queen Victoria, the falls have long been known to locals as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning "The Smoke That Thunders."

As you walk through Victoria Falls National Park, marvel at the breathtaking cascades and panoramic viewpoints. Your guide will highlight key features, including Devil’s Pool, a natural rock pool on the Zambian side where thrill-seekers can sit on the edge of the falls.

Day 4: Full-Day Safari in Hwange National Park (Optional)

Start your day with an early morning transfer to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest and most diverse wildlife reserve. Along the way, pass through rural villages and the historic Hwange mining area.

Spend the day on two thrilling game drives—one in the mid-morning and another in the afternoon—where you’ll visit watering holes and prime wildlife viewing spots. Hwange is home to an abundant elephant population, Cape wild dogs, and the majestic Southwestern African lion. Other frequent sightings include giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest.

After a full day of exploration, return to your lodge in Victoria Falls for a well-earned rest.
